SHS Band Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Springfield High School Instrumental Music program shall be to facilitate and educate students in instrumental music, as well as, to help them become better individuals. This goal will be accomplished through strong musical training and by creating a sense of community within the band. This program shall do everything that it can to afford all students with the best possible music education. The SHS band will continually strive to recreate and facilitate a tradition of excellence in the Instrumental Music program that will serve the students as well as the school and the community.
